The present disclosure relates to a composition for inhibiting cellular senescence comprising loliolide [(-)-loliolide] as an active ingredient, and provides a composition for inhibiting cellular senescence, which inhibits senescence of fibroblasts induced by adriamycin or replicative senescence of fibroblasts. Specifically, the loliolide [(-)-loliolide] is characterized by being isolated from Polygoni avicularis herba extract.
