The present invention relates to a novel bifunctinal crosslinking agent compound, a production method thereof, and hydrogel soft contact lens comprising the same for drug release. According to the present invention, the hydrogel soft contact lens is a crosslinking agent and comprises a novel bifunctional compound, thereby exhibiting excellent drug-releasing effects of greater than or equal to 65% in an experiment for drug-releasing behavior for hydrophilic drugs as well as hydrophobic drugs. Moreover, the hydrogel soft contact lens does not cause cytotoxicity and thus is safe for human body. By having a strong ionic bond in the compound, the hydrogel soft contact lens shows outstanding mechanical properties as well compared to a counterpart added with an existing crosslinking agent, thereby being useful as a soft contact lens for drug-release.본 발명은 신규 이작용기 가교제 화합물, 이의 제조 방법 및 이를 포함하는 약물 방출용 하이드로젤 소프트 콘택트렌즈에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 하이드로젤 소프트 콘택트렌즈는 가교제로서 신규 이작용기 화합물을 사용함으로써, 약물 방출 거동 실험에서 친수성 약물 뿐만 아니라 소수성 약물에서도 65% 이상의 우수한 방출 효과를 나타내었고, 세포 독성이 나타나지 않아 인체에 안전하며, 화합물 내부에 강력한 이온 결합을 가지고 있어 기존 가교제를 첨가한 경우와 비교할 때 기계적 특성도 우수하므로 약물 방출용 소프트 콘택트렌즈로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
