The arrangement has been devised particularly for performing seeding operations in which seeds are planted in rows in ground in which there has been a previous crop and in which there are remnants of the previous crop. The remnants of the previous crop (14) comprise standing stubble rows (15). Remnant moisture and nutrients are likely to be present within moisture zones 10 around the root systems of the standing stubble rows (15) and so the moisture zones offers an environment likely to be more conducive to seed germination and plant growth than the region (21) between the standing stubble rows 15. The agricultural seeding implement (10) further comprises a row guidance system (90) operable to maintain tracking of seed planting tool assemblies (53) along their 15 intended paths, with movement of the agricultural seeding implement being monitored relative to two adjacent standing stubble rows of the previous crop.
