PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope that enables a visual field to be shifted in a wide range even when it is used within a narrow space.SOLUTION: An endoscope comprises: an insertion part 5 that can be curved and that is extended from a base end 5a to a free end 5b a first power transmission member 20 that transmits an operating physical force, generated on the side of the base end 5a, as a force for curving the insertion part 5 toward the side of the free end 5b and a hard part 6 that is provided on the free end 5b side of the insertion part 5 and that has an imaging unit 6a. A first power transmission member 20 is positioned in a hollow part 5c of the insertion part 5 from the base end 5a to the free end 5b.
