The present invention provides a composition for controlling a plant diseasecomprising a tetrazolinone compoundrepresented by formula (1) wherein X1 represents a halogen atom etc., and X2represents a C1-C3 alkyl group etc., and acarboxamide compound represented by formula (2), and a method for controllinga plant disease comprising a step of applying each effectiveamount of the tetrazolinone compound and the carboxamide compound to a plantor soil for cultivating the plant, the compositionand method having excellent control efficacies against plant diseases.
