PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate sintered compact particle group suitable to medical application, particularly, to the material for medical equipment introduced into the living body.SOLUTION: Provided is a ceramic particle group made of ceramic particles, in which the particle diameter of the ceramic particles lies in the range of 10 to 700 nm, also, the variation coefficient of the particle diameter of the ceramic particle group is 20% or lower, the ceramic particles being calcium phosphate sintered compact particles, the ceramic particles do not substantially include calcium carbonate, and also, the ceramic particles include apatite carbonate at least on the surfaces thereof. Also provided is a ceramic particle group having an almost spherical shape.
