According to an aspect, there is provided a method for measuring the intracranial pressure, ICP, in a subject, the method comprising detecting whether spontaneous retinal venous pulsations, SRVPs, are occurring in an eye of the subject as the orientation of the head of the subject changes； identifying the orientation of the head of the subject at which SRVPs start to occur or stop occurring； and using the identified orientation of the head of the subject at which SRVPs start to occur or stop occurring to determine the ICP in the subject.De acuerdo con un aspecto, se provee un método para medir la presión intracraneal, ICP, en un sujeto, el método comprende detectar si están ocurriendo pulsaciones venosas retinales espontáneas, SRVP, en un ojo del sujeto, a medida que la orientación de la cabeza del sujeto cambia； identificar la orientación de la cabeza del sujeto a la cual las SRVP comienzan a ocurrir o dejan de ocurrir y usar la orientación identificada de la cabeza del sujeto a la cual las SRVP comienzan a ocurrir o dejan de ocurrir para determinar la ICP en el sujeto.
