The present utility model pertains to a method of cultivating Telosma procumbens comprising the steps of: a) collecting healthy, mature vines of Telosma procumbens, b) cutting of mature vines every 2 to 3 nodes, c) pre-soaking the proximal end of the cut vines in a rooting solution comprising of 10 ml commercial rooting chemical per gallon water or 2 ml honey per liter water, d) planting the cut vines in polyethylene bags filled with soil media consisting of 1:1:1 ordinary garden soil, organic fertilizer and decomposed rice hull, e) providing partial shade to the potted cut vines for 2 months, f) watering the potted cut vines 2 to 3 times a week until the growing vines reached desired height for transplanting, g) transplanting the growing vines in easily-drained soil at 0.5 meter between hills and 1.0 meter between rows, h) applying recommended fertilizer consisting of 1 kilogram organic fertilizer, 8.3 g Urea and 8.3 g 14-14-14 per plant during crop establishment, and 2 kilograms organic fertilizer per plant every year thereafter or after pruning operations, i) irrigating weekly during the summer months, j) constructing trellis, and k) annual rejuvenation by pruning at 2 to 3 feet above ground after the fruiting season. The cutting propagation technique {steps a to f) enhances propagule rooting and survival； while the remaining component techniques (steps g to k) all result to high yield and net income. The complete technology can be recommended for backyard or home gardening and commercial production of an originally wild-growing edible species Telosma procumbens
