PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing system noise inflow when probes are switched with reception of a photoacoustic wave and an ultrasonic wave in a measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus comprises: a first probe including a first acoustic conversion element which transmits an ultrasonic wave and receives the ultrasonic wave reflected by a subject to convert it into an electric signal a second probe including a second acoustic conversion element which receives a photoacoustic wave generated by absorbing light emitted from a light irradiation part by the subject to convert it into an electric signal a reception part which receives the electric signals converted by the first and second acoustic conversion elements to convert them into digital signals and switching means which switches the acoustic conversion elements from which the reception part receives the electric signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
