The invention relates to psychology, and specifically to a method of providing remote psychological aid for solving problems related to mental states and dependencies, and also for correcting problematic social behavior. The method is carried out as follows: the psychological state of a patient is diagnosed in order to resolve problematic behavior related to psychological states and dependencies a program is developed for providing psychological aid to the patient and then a set of necessary tools for independently conducting a course of psychological correction is selected, wherein a remote electronic communication means is used during psychological diagnosis and correction. The psychological diagnosis and correction are carried out contactlessly. A patient is remotely provided with a set of necessary tools for self-training. The patient independently carries out self-training while simultaneously using at least one of the tools intended for self-training. The diagnosis of the psychological state of a patient is performed anonymously.
