PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley block and a material collection method that enable a labor cost and work time necessary for recovering pulleys to be reduced.SOLUTION: A roller 20 is rotatably attached to a frame 10. A hook member 30 is attached to the frame 10. The hook member 30 can be set at an attachment position where an attachment wire 2 can be attached to a hook 31 and the releasing position of the attachment wire 2. A stopper 40 is attached to the frame 10. The stopper 40 can be set at an engagement position where a stopper side engaging part 41 is engaged with a hook side engaging part 32 of the attachment position and a releasing position where the engagement with the hook side engaging part 32 is released. A recovery wire 60 is hooked to the roller 20. A releasing member 70 is attached to the downstream side of the roller 20 of the recovery wire 60 in a recovering direction.
