PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation apparatus allowing visual check of amount of a culture solution stored in a tank while suppressing occurrence of algae in the tank in a roof greening apparatus for sending the culture solution stored in a tank by a pump.SOLUTION: The cultivation apparatus includes a cultivation bath for storing a medium for cultivating a plant, a light-blocking culture solution tank 22 for storing the culture solution circulated and used between the tank and the bath, a tubular member for visual check (transparent pipe 41) that has an inner part visually checked from a side, communicates with the culture solution tank and is vertically arranged so that the upper end is higher than the upper limit water level of storage of the culture solution in the culture solution tank, a tubular member for light blocking (light-blocking pipe 42) that has light blocking properties, is detachable from the tubular member for visual check and covers the tubular member for visual check from the outside when held and a cleaning member (coil-like cleaning device 43, etc.) that is attached to the inside of the tubular member for light blocking and is in contact with the inner wall surface of the tubular member for visual check in a state in which the tubular member for light blocking is held on the tubular member for visual check.
