The present invention features a hot melt adhesive composition based on an olefin polymer that can be used for elastic material attachment in the manufacture of disposable articles. The hot melt adhesive comprises from about 3 to about 10% by weight of a first propylene copolymer having a melt index of about 5 or less as measured by ASTM D1238 (190 ° C., 2.16 kg) and a viscosity at 190 ° C. of about 5000 cps.
