A threshing system (24) for use in an agricultural harvester (10), the threshing system (24) including a rotor (40) and a perforated concave system (42). The rotor (40) is for the movement of crop material through the threshing system (24), with the rotor (40) having a rotational axis (RA). The perforated concave system (42) is spaced radially outward from the rotor (40) for the passage of grain through the perforations as the rotor (40) moves the crop material across the concave system (42). The concave system (42) has at least one concave section (78A) having a rigid frame (84), pivotal members (86), and an arcuate movable member (88). The rigid frame (84) has a plurality of sides (92, 94, 96, 98) rigidly coupled together.
