A certain component of an input time series signal(hereinafter referred to as input) is assumed as a cycletime-variable time series signal and correlation analysisbetween part of the input and the input is carried out,and cycle fluctuation of the input and reliability of thecycle fluctuation are estimated using a result of thecorrelation analysis and a cycle of the input afterpredetermined time passes is predicted using the cyclefluctuation and the reliability. In-phase timeinformation whose phase is same as that of the input afterthe predetermined time and which is time of the input andthe reliability of the information are calculated usinga result of the correlation analysis and the predictedcycle, and model design information for predicting a valueof the input after the predetermined time and accuracyof prediction by the model design information are estimatedusing the input, time series information of a variationof the input per unit time, in-phase time information andreliability of the information. A prediction model forpredicting a value of the input after the predeterminedtime is produced using the input, in-phase time informationand reliability of the information, and model designinformation, and the value of the input after thepredetermined time is predicted and outputted using theprediction model.129
