The present invention relates to a method for mass-culturing adherent diatoms. The method for mass-culturing adherent diatoms includes the steps of: (1) forming an adhesive substrate on the floor of a water tank of a predetermined volume in a horizontal direction, storing seawater from Jeju island, and attaching the adherent diatoms thereon； (2) moving the adhesive substrate attached with the adherent diatoms thereon to an outdoor water tank and culturing the adherent diatoms with sunlight； (3) releasing the adherent diatoms from the adhesive substrate by supplying air bubbles from the lower part of the adhesive substrate； and (4) recovering the adherent diatoms by using water flows after floating the adherent diatoms on the water surface by using the photostability of the released adherent diatoms.
