PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of dispensing with coating of a sterilizing agent to a heat exchanger and keeping the inside of an indoor unit clean at all times.
SOLUTION: When the air conditioner is brought to a stop after a cooling or dehumidifying operation, an electrostatic atomizer is operated for a prescribed time after the inside of the indoor unit is dried by temporarily performing a heating operation. The operation is performed in a state that the indoor fan is stopped, a front suction port is closed by a front panel, and a supply port is closed by a vertical blade.
