PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue expander capable of being used without requiring wide subcutaneous exfoliation when being retained inside a body and with simple surgery and less invasion and load on a patient, without causing the conventional problems accompanying the subcutaneous exfoliation and capable of significantly reducing incidence of complications caused by infection.SOLUTION: A tissue expander includes an expanding main body (2) having a fluid housing part (5) therein, and a fluid supply path (3) communicating with the fluid housing part (5), for supplying a fluid into the fluid housing part (5). The expanding main body (2) is formed into a slender cylindrical shape, both ends of which are sealed.
