SOLUTION: A centrifugal mist generator 4 wherein water supplied from a water inlet 45 to the water storage 38 is introduced to a rotor 34 turning by the motor 6, includes: a motor current detection circuit 61 detecting a current value of a current flowing in the motor 6 after the stop of water supply from the water inlet 45 to the water storage 38 and a control circuit 62 performing control to extend the operation of the motor 6 after the stop of the water supply and to stop the motor 6 when it is detected that a current value detected by the motor current detection circuit 61 is a predetermined value or smaller.
