An intubation tube oral appliance system for providing a semi-customized support for an intubation tube that protects the intubation tube and facilitates the delivery of oral hygiene materials to reduce the incidences of ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP). The intubation tube oral appliance system generally includes a tube support, a first tray extending from the tube support and a second tray extending from the tube support. The tube support is formed to receive an intubation tube and a strap or securing member secures the intubation tube to the tube support. The first tray and the second tray include a thermoplastic layer that is formed to the ventilation patients teeth. An antibacterial solution and/or fluoride solution is placed within the first tray and second tray prior to insertion into the ventilation patients mouth to reduce dental plaque and VAP.La présente invention concerne un système dappareil buccal pour tube dintubation, destiné à procurer un support partiellement personnalisé pour tube dintubation protégeant ledit tube et facilitant ladministration de matériaux dhygiène buccale, en vue de réduire les incidences de pneumonie sous ventilation assistée. Ledit système dappareil buccal pour tube dintubation comprend dune manière générale un support de tube, un premier plateau sétendant depuis ledit support de tube et un second plateau sétendant depuis ledit support de tube. Le support de tube est formé de manière à accueillir un tube dintubation, et une bande ou un élément de fixation fixe le tube dintubation audit support de tube. Le premier plateau et le second plateau comprennent une couche thermoplastique formée sur les dents du patient sous ventilation. Une solution antibactérienne et/ou une solution de fluorure est placée à lintérieur du premier plateau et du second plateau, avant son insertion dans la bouche du patient sous ventilation, afin de réduire la plaque dentaire et les risques de pneumonie sous ventilation assistée.
