The invention relates to novel benzodiazepine derivatives with antiproliferative activity and more specifically to novel benzodiazepine compounds of formula (I)-(VII). The invention also provides conjugates of the benzodiazepine compounds linked to a cell-binding agent. The invention further provides compositions and methods useful for inhibiting abnormal cell growth or treating a proliferative disorder in a mammal using the compounds or conjugates of the invention.La présente invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de benzodiazépine cytotoxique possédant une activité proliférative, et plus spécifiquement de nouveaux composés de benzodiazépine de formule (I) à (VII). Linvention porte en outre sur des conjugués desdits composés de benzodiazépine liés à un agent de liaison cellulaire. Linvention a également trait à des compositions et des procédés utiles dans linhibition de la croissance cellulaire anormale ou le traitement dun trouble prolifératif chez un mammifère au moyen des composés ou des conjugués de linvention.
