PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic therapy apparatus inhibiting a user from feeling discomfort.SOLUTION: A gate control device 36 passes a current to a gate of a first thyristor 32, with a DC power supply 31 put on, to allow the first thyristor 32 to conduct and a current to flow through a coil ring 11. The flowing current is accumulated in a capacitor 33 as electric charges and, when a voltage by the electric charges accumulated in the capacitor 33 becomes equal to an impressed voltage of the DC power supply 31, the current flow is made to stop, and a pulse current flows through the coil ring 11 once. The pulse width of the pulse current is not less than 0.5 ms and not more than 5 ms. The pulse current is made to pass through the coil ring 11 at a relatively low frequency of 30 Hz or less. When the pulse current flows through the coil ring 11, a pulse magnetic field is produced. When the pulse magnetic field is applied from the coil ring 11 to a body tissue of a human body, an electromotive force having a waveform similar to that of an action potential is produced in the body tissue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】不快感を抑制した磁気治療器を提供する。【解決手段】直流電源31がオン状態のときにゲート制御装置36が第1サイリスタ32のゲートに電流を流し込むと第1サイリスタ32の導通が開始されてコイルリング11に電流が流れる。流れた電流はコンデンサ33に電荷として蓄積され、コンデンサ33に蓄積された電荷による電圧と直流電源31の印加電圧とが等しくなったときに電流の流れが停止することにより、コイルリング11にパルス電流が1回流れる。パルス電流のパルス幅は0.5ミリ秒以上5ミリ秒以下である。パルス電流は30Hz以下の比較的低周波にてコイルリング11に流される。コイルリング11にパルス電流が流れるとパルス磁場が発生する。コイルリング11から人体の体内組織にパルス磁場を与えると、その体内組織に活動電位と類似する波形の起電力が生じる。【選択図】図3
