Use of a glycolysis-inhibiting compound, for the preparation of a composition for reducing and/or delaying the hyperproliferation disorder of epidermic cells. An independent claim is included for a method of identifying the glycolysis inhibiting compound comprising preparing a keratinocyte culture, adding the compound to be tested in the cell culture medium, comparing the glycolysis levels or the GLUT-1 expression level in the keratinocytes in the presence of the compound to be tested with the glycolysis rate or the expression level in a sample without cultivated compound to be tested and selecting the compound that decreases the glycolysis rate of at least 25% or decreases the GLUT-1 expression of at least 25%. ACTIVITY : Cytostatic； Antipsoriatic； Depilatory. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Glucose transporter (GLUT) inhibitor. The ability of the glycolysis-inhibiting compound to inhibit the glucose transporter was tested. The result showed that the glycolysis-inhibiting compound decreased the proliferation after 74 hours treatment of the keratinocytes at a concentration of 1mM.
