PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vision regeneration assisting apparatus which continues operation of an intracorporeal device in case of failure.SOLUTION: The vision regeneration assisting apparatus is equipped with an extracorporeal device having a transmitting mean of stimulation data and electric power and the intracorporeal device having a receiving means of the stimulation data and the electric power and outputting stimulation pulses from an electrode based on the stimulation data and the electric power. The intracorporeal device includes a first unit for converting the stimulation data and the electric power to a predetermined signal, a second control unit which extracts the stimulation data from the signal and outputs stimulation pulses from the electrode, and conductors for connecting the first and second units.
