CONSTITUTION: A composition for suppressing plant flowering contains a compound of chemical formula 2 or salt thereof as an active ingredient. The composition is protective colloid, adhesive, thickening agent, thixotropic agent, permeate, stabilizer, antifreeze, waterproof agent, or corrosion inhibitor. The plant flowering is suppressed by contacting the compound of chemical formula 2 or salt thereof to the plant.
