The present invention provides mixtures of water soluble polymers for making aqueous cleaning formulations having improved sensorial properties, while maintaining suitable levels of viscosity, foaming, emulsion capacity and cleaning efficiency. The aqueous cleaning formulations may be hand dish washing formulations, as well as laundry detergents and hard surface cleaning formulations.
