A safety system with floating frame for an enclosed body of water (2), in particular a fish farming facility, wherein the floating frame (4) laterally includes a number of uprights (10) and a handrail (12) running there between, the handrail forming a railing (8) along the inner side of the floating frame (4), which outside the railing (8) includes a work platform (6), wherein a primary safety line or rail (14) is arranged running along the outer side of the railing (8), the safety line or rail (14) arranged to secure a first end part of a secondary safety line (16) which at an opposite, second end part is connected with a harness or belt (20) worn by a worker (22) engaged in activity on the work platform (6). In a simple way is hereby provided a safety system for use in marine fish farming of the kind enabling to safeguard employees working on the work platform from falling into the water with the danger of drowning.
