PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for inducing plant stem to enable a stem of a plant to be reliably supported by a hanging string.SOLUTION: The clip for inducing plant stem 1 comprises: a pair of first and second holding bodies 2, 3 rotatably and pivotally supported to each other at a pivot part 5 of an intermediate part thereof and C-shaped spring 4 for rotationally energizing end parts of the holding bodies in a closing direction. The first and second holding bodies 2, 3 have: at their end sides, arc-shaped stem support parts 6 for circularly surrounding a stem P of a plant to hold the stem P at the other end sides, tab parts 7 for opening and closing the stem support parts 6 and between the pivot part 5 and the stem support parts 6, a string fixing part 8 for clipping the hanging string R therebetween. One of the stem support parts 6 is formed in an arc shape so as to surround more than half of the circumference of the stem P, and the other of the stem support parts 6 is formed in an arc shape so as to surround less than half of the circumference of the stem P, so that the tip parts of the stem support parts 6 abut against each other at a position out of the centerline of their respective opening angles.
