PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growing device suitable for preventing insect damages of bulbs of bamboo grass lilies by wild boars.SOLUTION: There are included: a lid member 3 including a lid 9 opening/closing a cylinder part 8 an annular flat plate-like cover member 4 of 10-30 kg, fastened to the cylinder part 8, expanding and extending to an outer periphery of the cylinder part 8, and comprising cement or mortar and a pile 6 for fastening the cover member 4 to a ground surface. A flowerpot 31 for storing a bamboo grass lily bulb 37 is arranged on a ground surface below the cylinder part 8. A base end part 13 of the cylinder part 8 is fastened to the cover member 4. The lid 9 is detachably joined to an apex of the cylinder part 8 with screws 14 and 15. The lid 9 has an inward-looking flange 17 where a plurality of rain drop inflow holes are scattered and formed.
