PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin which is easy to closely adhere to a female external genital.
SOLUTION: The sanitary napkin 10 has a central facing portion 40, side facing sections 45 and intermediate deformed portions 46 with low flexural rigidity. When attached to a crotch region, it is deformed to be concavely bent at boundaries 34 and to be convexly bent at boundaries 35 and a hollow recess is formed in the central facing portion 40. The external genital is made to enter the hollow recess while the labia minora 2 abut on a concavo-convex portion 41 of a surface sheet 21 and the concavo-convex portion 41 is compressed by a light force. Thereby, the sanitary napkin 10 becomes easy to adhere closely to a concavo-convex region of the body from the external genital to the inguinal region 4.
