The endoscopic image acquisition unit 54 acquires an endoscopic image acquired by capturing an image of a lumen with an endoscope 12. The region-of-interest detecting unit 80 detects a region of interest in the lumen by using the endoscopic image. The position information acquisition unit 81 acquires position information of the region of interest detected by the region-of-interest detecting unit 80. The display unit 18 displays the position information of the region of interest.
