Die Erfindung betrifft 15,16-Methylen-17-(1 -propenyl)-17-3-oxidoestra-4-en-3-on- Derivate mit der allgemeinen chemischen Formel (I), wobei die Z, R4, R6a, R6b, R7 und R18 die in Anspruch 1 angegebenen Bedeutungen haben, sowie deren Solvate, Hydrate und Salze, einschließlich aller Kristallmodifikationen und aller Stereoisomere dieser Verbindungen. Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem die Verwendung dieser Derivate zur Herstellung eines Arzneimittels zur oralen Kontrazeption und zur Behandlung von prä-, peri- und postmenopausalen Beschwerden sowie Arzneimittel, die derartige Derivate enthalten, insbesondere Anwendung in den vorgenannten Indikationsfällen.
