PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an imaging device comprising two-dimensionally aligned pixel circuits for outputting charge signals by photoelectric conversion of light to output both image data and external data other than image data by a more simple constitution.SOLUTION: An imaging device 39 which comprises two-dimensionally aligned pixel circuits 71 for outputting charge signals by photoelectric conversion of light and outputs the charge signals outputted from the pixel circuits 71 as image data of serial data comprises: a storage unit (register 80) for storing external data inputted from the outside a write control unit 78 for storing the external data in the storage unit (register 80) and an output control unit 79 for periodically outputting the image data and external data in a time division manner.
