The invention discloses a composition for reducing weight and reducing body fat, a pharmaceutical product and an application thereof. The composition comprises epigallocatechin gallate, curcumin, and an excipient. The excipient is at least one or any combination of glyceryl dibehenate, polyoxyethylene stearate, a polysorbate 80 mixture, vitamin E polyethylene glycol succinate, monostearin, and polyethylene glycol-6 glyceryl oleate. In addition, the polysorbate 80 mixture comprises polysorbate 80 and magnesium aluminum metasilicate. The composition of the invention exhibits the effects of significantly reducing weight and body fat both in animal tests in a pre-induced obesity model and in animal tests in a simultaneously-induced obesity model.
