FIELD: medicine； hygiene.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes a device for facial skin care and a skin care method, relates to the field of cosmetology and is designed for cosmetic face care. Skin care device comprises a handheld base body, a rotor head, a motor, at least one motion sensor and a control unit. Rotor head is movably connected to the base body and includes at least one skin contacting element. Motor is operably connected to both the base body and the rotor head and is configured to rotatably drive the rotor head relative to the base body around a rotation axis. Motion sensor includes a tracking device and is configured to generate its movement signal in accordance with its movement along the skin surface, detected by interaction with it or in accordance with movements detected without interaction with the skin surface. Said movement signal reflects a path of relative movement between the body and the skin surface. Control unit is operably connected to the at least one motion sensor and the motor and is configured to control the motor to rotatably drive the rotor head in dependence of the movement signal of the at least one motion sensor. Control unit is configured to recognise linear and circular paths of relative movement.
