PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair setting method which, unlike hair setting using alkaline thioglycolic acid, causes no risk of toxicity during application, destruction of hair due to repeated uses over a long time, decrease of hair setting effects, and environmental pollution with waste water, and a method of releasing the hair setting.SOLUTION: In a setting method according to the invention, hair is covered with a gel net obtained from an ultrahigh molecular weight poly-γ-glutamic acid that is generated by a strain separated from Bacillus natto, and calcium ions are sprayed over the hair after adjusting a shape of the hair and water-insolubilized setting is performed on the hair. When hair is to be newly set, the hair setting can be released by an ionic exchange by treating the hair with a detergent including sodium or a soap, without having to performing hair setting on the existing hair setting as conventional methods.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】アルカリ性チオグリコール酸を用いて毛髪をセットする場合と異なり、施行にあたって毒性を受ける危険、長期回数を重ねた使用による毛髪の破壊、髪のセットに対する効果の低下や排水による環境汚染がないセット方法、および該セットの解除方法の提供。【解決手段】納豆菌から分離した株により生成された超高分子量のポリ-γ-グルタミン酸より得られたゲルネットで毛髪を覆い、形を整えた後にカルシウムイオンをスプレーし水不溶化セットを行う。また、新しくセットする際は旧来の方法の様にセットの上に無理にセットすることなく、ナトリウムを含んだ洗剤或いは石鹸により処理することによりイオン交換でセットを取ることができる。【選択図】図3
