PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transdermal absorption therapeutic system having improved compliance, adhesion, tolerability and/or safety properties, and having specific release profiles, and to provide a method for manufacturing it and a method for using it.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the Transdermal absorption Therapeutic System (TTS) comprising: a) a backing layer； b) a reservoir layer comprising one or more active ingredients, such as tacrine, rivastigmine, donepezil, galantamine, and the like, and one or more polymers, such as acrylates, styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymers, and the like； c) an adhesive layer comprising a silicone polymer and a tackifier, such as silicone oils and the like； providing a maximum plasma concentration of about 2.5 to 20 ng/ml from a mean of about 4 to 12 hours after application. The present invention also relates to the method for manufacturing the system by a flow coating method and the method for the prevention, treatment or delay of progression of Alzheimer's disease using the system.
