Antimicrobial composition for increasing the shelf life of water, feed or feed ingredients, containing: water, a mixture of organic acids C-C, a mixture of C-C aldehydes, 5-25 wt.% Pelargonic acid, 0-30 wt.% Aldehyde. 2. The composition according to claim 1, in which the mixture of C-C aldehydes includes formaldehyde, trans-2-hexenal, furfural, cinnaldehyde, undecylenic aldehyde, butyraldehyde, 2,4-decadienal, decanal, 2-pentenal, 2,4-hexadienal or mixtures thereof. 3. The composition according to claim 1, in which the mixture of C-C aldehydes includes aldehydes other than those listed in clause 2.4. The composition according to claim 1, in which the mixture of organic acids C-C includes acetic acid and propionic acid. The composition according to claim 1, containing 0-20 wt% formaldehyde. The composition according to claim 1, containing 5-15 wt.% Nonanoic acid, 10-20 wt.% Acetic acid, 40-50 wt.% Propionic acid, 0-30 wt.% Trans-2-hexenal, 0-30 wt. % of another type of aldehyde. 7. A method of increasing the shelf life of water, feed or feed ingredients, including: spray treatment or joint mixing with water, feed or feed ingredients of an effective amount of a composition containing: water, a mixture of organic acids CC, a mixture of aldehydes CC, 5-25 wt.% Pelargonic acid , 0-30 wt% trans-2-hexenal. 8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the composition is effective against bacteria, viruses, mycoplasmas or fungi present in drinking water, feed and feed ingredients.
