PURPOSE: An X-ray photographing apparatus and a support stand for the same are provided to reduce inconvenience according to oral photography by attaching an A-ray detection unit to a face of a patient. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray detection unit(20) detects X-rays passing through a patient. One end of a support stand is connected with an X-ray generating unit(10). The other end of the support stand is connected with the -ray detection unit. The support stand fixes the X-ray detection unit to be faced with the X-ray generating unit. The support stand revolves at the location which is opposite to the X-ray generating unit. A first distance measuring unit is included on the X-ray generating unit and measures a first distance between the X-ray generating unit and a first area of the head of the patient.X-선 발생부, X-선 발생부에서 조사되어 환자를 통과한 X-선을 검출하는 X-선 검출부 및 그 일단이 X-선 발생부에 연결되며 그 타단은 X-선 검출부와 연결되어 X-선 검출부를 X-선 발생부와 마주보도록 고정시키는 지지대를 포함하는 X-선 영상 촬영 장치가 개시된다. 지지대는 수평 방향으로 길이 조절이 가능하고 X-선 발생부와 마주보는 위치에서 회전 가능하다.
