Also disclosed is a method for enhancing the pesticidal potency of N-cyanomethy1-4- trifluoromethy1-3-pyridinecarboxyamide or its salt by combining it with at least one potency-enhancing component selected from a dialkylsulfosuccinic acid salt, a dialkylsulfosuccinic acid, an alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, an a-olefin sulfonic acid, apolyoxyethylenealkylphenyl ether sulfonic acid, a polyoxyethylenealkyl ether sulfosuccinic acid half ester, a naphthalene sulfonic acid, an alkylnaphthalene sulfonic acid, a dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid diethanolamine salt, or salts thereof.
