PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation hair dye composition capable of suppressing the staining of skin and excessive hair dyeing in an oxidation hair dye composition using a predetermined amount of p-toluylendiamine-sulphate as a dye intermediate.SOLUTION: There is provided an oxidation hair dye composition comprising an alkali agent and an oxidizing agent, the oxidation hair dye composition comprising (A) p-toluylendiamine-sulphate and (B) sodium hydroxide, wherein the content of the (A) component is 0.2 mass% or more.
