PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional technology, namely, providing of a block for an artificial sea bottom mountain-ridge bottoming easily on a position planned in advance, to put it concretely, providing of a block for an artificial sea bottom mountain-ridge in which a falling attitude in the sea can be stabilized easily.SOLUTION: A block for an artificial sea bottom mountain-ridge used for constituting an artificial sea bottom mountain-ridge established on the sea bottom, includes a body part, a hollow part penetrating an inner part of the body part, and a buoyancy body for generating buoyancy. By providing the buoyancy body, separation is provided between a position of a gravity center and a position of a buoyancy center of the block for the artificial sea bottom mountain-ridge in a falling attitude in the sea, and as a result, restitutive force to rotation can be exhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】本願発明の課題は、従来技術が抱える問題を解決することであり、すなわちあらかじめ計画した位置に着底しやすい人工海底山脈用ブロックを提供することであり、より具体的には、海中の落下姿勢が安定しやすい人工海底山脈用ブロックを提供することである。【解決手段】本願発明の人工海底山脈用ブロックは、海底に造成される人工海底山脈を構成するものであり、本体部と、この本体部の内部を貫通する空洞部と、浮力を生じさせる浮力体を備えたものである。浮力体を設けることによって、海中落下姿勢における人工海底山脈用ブロックの重心位置と浮心位置との間に離隔が設けられ、その結果、回転に対する復元力を発揮することができる。【選択図】図5
