The present invention relates to ultra low-dose dosage forms for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). More specifically, the invention relates to a solid oral dosage form comprising about 0.5 mg of estradiol and about 0.25 mg of drospirenone, and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Despite the very low E2 and DRSP capacity, surprisingly, a high proportion of women with moderate to severe facial flushing have been found to actually respond to this treatment.
