PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein there is a risk of causing a fall in the muscular strength of an abdominal muscle if a waist belt, a corset, or the like for the purpose of preventing or reducing lumbago is used for a long period of time, and the load of the waist cannot be reduced by a conventional spinal orthosis in movement associated with camptospasm.SOLUTION: This spinal orthosis includes an upper support body 1 in contact with the trunk a waist support body 2 fixed to the waist and a joint 3 having a rotating shaft for connecting both support bodies. The exhibiting force of the joint 3 having the rotating shaft provides such a drag as to pull up a trunk part through the upper support body 1, and such a force as to press the lumbar does not work. The activity of the abdominal muscle can thereby be improved to exhibit effects of preventing or reducing lumbago, straightening a slouchy posture, maintaining the activity of the abdominal muscle, etc. The joint 3 having the rotating shaft is usable in various ways while coping with individual differences because of having a function of adjusting the initial position and drag of the upper support body 1.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】腰痛の予防や軽減を目的とした、腰ベルトやコルセットなどを長期間使用すると腹筋の筋力低下を招く危険性があった。また、体幹前屈を伴う動作において従来の体幹装具では腰部の荷重負担を軽減することができなかった。【解決手段】体幹に接触する上部支持体1と腰部に固定される腰部支持体2とこれら両支持体を連結するための回転軸を有する継ぎ手3とを具備した、体幹装具である。回転軸を有する継ぎ手3の発揮する力が上部支持体1を通して体幹部を引き起こすような抗力を与え、腰椎を押し付けるような力が働かないために腰部負担を軽減し、かつ腹筋の活動を高めることができる。これにより腰痛の予防、腰痛の軽減、前かがみ姿勢の矯正、腹筋活動の維持などに効果を発揮することができる。また、回転軸を有する継ぎ手3は上部支持体1の初期位置と抗力を調節する機能を有するため、個人差にも対応でき幅広い用途に使用することができる。【選択図】図1
