The garment includes a tubular feature with variable elasticity and at least one conductive fiber electrode for sensing an electrical vital signal, such as a clinical-level ECG signal. The garment further includes at least one elastic, loose conductive strip having a first end and a second end. A first end of the at least one conductive stripe is securely attached to a respective conductive fiber electrode, and a second end of the at least one conductive stripe is operatively connected to the processor.
