PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based gel cosmetic preparation having properties of richness when being applied to the skin, providing excellent moisturizing feeling and emollient feeling after application, being difficult to sticky, and being hard to provide catching feeling after a while after the application, for example, about 30 minutes after the application.SOLUTION: A water-based gel cosmetic preparation comprises components (a) to (d) below, and the ratio {(b)+(c)}/(d) of the total content of the component (b) and the content of the component (c) and the content of the component (d) is 4 to 50. (a): Glycerol or diglycerol 2 to 20 mass%. (B): Alkylene oxide derivative represented by the formula (1) in claim 1 1 to 15 mass%.
