The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition suitable for lifting the skin, comprising chitosan having rapidly dissolving properties in an undissolved state. The composition does not comprise a preservative, a surfactant, etc., which can impose burden or adverse effects on the skin, by being dissolved before being used by a user. The composition comprises: 0.5-6.0 wt% of chitosan having rapidly dissolving properties dissolved with a dissolution rate in the range of 1-15 minutes in a solvent having a degree of deacetylation (DA) in the range of 80-100% and a pH in the range of 3.5-7.5 and a solvent having a pH in the range of 3.5-7.5 as a residual amount.
