PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method of driving a measurement device capable of reducing the number of drive circuits without widening an interval between variable capacitors.SOLUTION: A device of driving a measurement device having variable capacitors 31 and 32 as a sensor element, comprises drive circuits respectively provided to a plurality of sets each consisting of two variable capacitors. One electrodes of the two variable capacitors of each set are electrically connected with each other.
