Provided herein are methods of administering a therapeutic agent to a retina of an eye of an individual. Methods herein comprise contacting an area of the retina of an eye from which a vitreous and at least a portion of an internal limiting membrane (ILM) have been removed to expose under an atmospheric gas at least a portion of a retina to a composition comprising a therapeutic agent or nucleic acid encoding a therapeutic protein.L'invention concerne des procédés d'administration d'un agent thérapeutique à la rétine d'un œil d'un individu.
