Projections from the side of the direct blood flow are limited by the surfaces of the through slots, and from the side of the reverse blood flow - by inclined planes. The inclined plane is tangent to the cylindrical surface of the cusp slot in its open and closed positions. The lateral surfaces of the slots are the limiters of an angle of the cusp rotation from the closed position into the open position and back. The bottom surface of the slot is limited by the cylindrical surface with the diameter, equal to the cusp thickness, and is a supporting one when the cusp is opened.
